Uber is destroying the taxi market in Sri Lanka
I called an Uber today to head home from work and was surprised to see a new car category called “Uber Zip”. I forgot to take a screenshot then but took one after I got home:
Great article and very much enjoyed reading it. Anyone who has questions about our rates or cost for an app to build would be redirected here :). Even operated in offshore, we cannot deliver solutions successfully at $5 or $10 /hour range as we have long standing full time employees with right skills and commitment.
That is a beautiful letter and says so very clearly what is in my heart and that I didn’t know how to express. Love is the only effective answer to this pain. Reaching out to our fellow travelers on this planet to keep alienation at bay is all I want to do right now.
I couldn’t think of a heavier name to call this series of blog posts, so naturally the chronicles of Lanka was the obvious choice. Hopefully, the chronicles (technically blogs) wont just end with just one — this one, and will continue to be written as I work and travel around Sri Lanka.
