If Luke is Kylo, or an as yet unseen player, I would hope he is playing something more complex than another turned Jedi. He knows that Yin requires Yang and that Vader reached a place of balance at the end. Luke may learn to master both sides of the Force and IX could finish with a synthesis of Jedi and Sith rather than victory for either.
