- Learn what vegan means: no meat, no milk, no eggs, nothing that came from an animal. Sometimes I’ll ask, “is this item vegan?” and be told “it’s gluten-free.” Special diets are not interchangeable.

Thank you for speaking up for nursing parents- and babies - of all species! (I say parents rather than mothers because some trans men and non-binary people also breastfeed.) Breastfeeding and avoidance of dairy products are topics of great interest and importance to me, for food justice as well as animal rights reasons.
