We, on the Tailor Tech team, believe in building a community through code. Open source is just one way to contribute to the dev community and in the end, to ourselves as well. Check out our open-source projects below - some were born out of a necessity to improve the usability of a different library or open-source, and some are for better performance.

Share it, contribute to it, use it!

Ruby

The Noun Project Ruby API Wrapper package

The Noun Project

The Noun Project is a diverse collection of icons. With this package, you can find a collection of icons or a single icon in an easy and straightforward API.

The Stitch Data Ruby Wrapper

Stitch Data is an ETL service built for developers that supports many built-in third-party integrations. In case you need to integrate a data source that is not supported by Stitch, you can use the API that utilizes their data replication engine.

The Shutterstock Ruby API Wrapper

Shutterstock search engine

Shutterstock is one of the best microstock websites, with its huge collection of royalty-free stock photos, vector graphics, illustrations, and more. We build a wrapper for the most used API to be able to search for images and videos, get related details and even purchase an asset.

The webhookr extension for Vero webhooks

Vero is a messaging platform to send email campaigns. We developed a plugin for Webhookr that enables your application to accept webhooks from Vero. We support all webhook events and use the full payload data, converted to an OpenStruct for ease of access.

Go

The Slack Notifications Client

Using a scratch container to send messages to Slack - an instant messaging system for workplace communication. Our project is mainly used as a way to keep track of events in our production environment and send notifications from Kubernetes Init Containers. You can send a message to a channel/user and define a username with an icon emoji (because emojis make everything better 😍)

JavaScript

Prometheus Exporter for Express Applications

This module allows an application to expose Prometheus compatible metrics. The metrics include request duration and statuses, and optionally, those that are exported by default in prom-client.Here is an example output showing all metrics. By default, the /metrics and /healthz endpoints are ignored.

The Ember CLI Addon For Facebook Pixel

Facebook pixel tool

The Facebook pixel lets you measure, optimize and build audiences for your advertising campaigns. The main purpose of this package is to inject Facebook pixel into index.html without any effort. We use the Ember-CLI project’s configuration and with a few small steps, you’re good to go.

The Ember CLI Addon for Heap Analytics

Heap is an analytics service that automatically captures web and mobile app behavioral data. We built this Ember-CLI add-on to inject Heap analytics into index.html in order to be able to report to Heap seamlessly.

We have some more open sources on our site, check it out! Have you contributed anything cool to open source that you’d like to share? Let us know in the comments below!
