Taimi Surpasses a Million Unique Livestreams
In half-a-year after the launch of livestreaming on the app, Taimi users have started over a million unique sessions.
Taimi — the largest LGBTQ+ platform that features a social network and dating app — launched livestreaming in late Q3 2020. In half-a-year since the feature was introduced, the app’s users have started over 1 million unique streaming sessions.
In January-February 2021, Taimi community doubled the streaming activity compared to Q4 2020. Streams on the platform have amassed over 22.1 million views from the users. The total duration of livestreaming on Taimi has surpassed 260 thousand hours, which is equivalent to 30 years’ worth of streaming.
The newer additions to the livestreaming apparel on the platform — Live Duet and Versus Battles — were launched in late October 2020 and January 2021 respectively. Both streaming extensions are steadily gaining popularity among Taimi users, with Live Duet surpassing over 80 000 unique sessions (402 000 “couples” formed), and Versus Battles being started around 140 000 times.
