A notice for other authors

Hey, so Medium doesn’t have a way for editors to email authors of a publication privately, so here’s my open letter for everyone.

For the authors… I’m stepping away from Medium, and Manus Dare is the other active editor with this publication and he isn’t able to take over scheduling posts. There’s a few more days of posts planned, but after that, I won’t be scheduling anything else for the publication. So please don’t submit anything or it will just sit there forever.

I’ve been helping maintain this publication for a couple of years now, but with the changes to how Medium pays authors, and just my own growth outside of Medium, I have to focus my limited time and energy on other things.

I’ve never “owned” this publication, so I have no control over what happens to it. It’s possible one of the other editors starts posting things, I don’t know.

For all the wonderful readers… This probably isn’t the end of the publication, occasional stories will still pop up, probably from Manus, or maybe even me if I get some wild desire to post something. But unless one of the other editors takes over, this publication will see a lot less new stories. Makes sure to follow your favorite authors from TMWP so you can get notified wherever they are posting their stories.
