People on the Same road, in different multiple vehicles coming from different places of origin with different goals.

Converging and diverging actions.

Red light signifies stoppage and bureaucracy.
Red Light, anywhere on a vehicle’s backlight or the traffic signal is a form of emotional pain for everyone but is necessary to maintain order and to ensure that everyone makes it through.
After all none of us want to be stuck in a dead block.

Longest Traffic Jam in India

Common destination people meet each other multiple times along the way.
People working in similar industries and towards a common goal.

Everyone is a investor; On the same way to their very own respective goals.

Venture capitalists are similar to a limousine/Range Rover escort who are directed by other people. They have different sources and have multiple options.
They spend money and other resources to get the most value for their time.
Some know the way some don’t.
Everyone eventually invests with their time on the street or industry.

Investors inadvertently want the best route which is the fastest and simplest way being highest return on investment.
They understand that the commodity in picture is time.
They make use of other resources, tips and tricks to get the maximum Return on investment for their minimum investment of time.

Venture firms are identical to different kinds of transportation services.
They are in the market to make profit. They have people to be answerable to.
They are looking for the fastest route with the most comfortable pathway to ensure that the passenger has a great ride.
Passengers being the people in the venture clients or in the network.

Venture firms on our traffic filled road are composed of Autos, Ubers, taxis stuffed with impatient passengers.
Time acting like money is of the essence here.

A ton of people view comfort level. That comes with expending additional resources.
That isn’t the game being played, but rather just a side effect.

Investors in silicon valley are similar to the people behind normal bike riders in Indian traffic, bike riders being your CEOs, CTOs and your Movers and shakers.
They incentivise you to go faster by letting you pass them.

Since we equate time to money in this equation, anybody that lets you pass on the street is investing their “Money” in you.

They let you go first for you can move things better and faster.

Everyone invests their time. Time is money in Silicon Valley and when you’re stuck in traffic, it’s all the same.

You check the direction, traffic on your phone in the middle of the street and think of changing directions but you risk getting hit by other cars, bikes vehicles.

In silicon valley, your startup is moving quick but you hear from a trusty resource that it is not heading in the right direction, but you can’t make any changes because you’ve already taken investors money, you’ll be squished if you stop.

People tailgate those going fast; People in front have to take care not to hit or get hit by surrounding vehicles.

People stop now and then. Red lights flash in traffic. Nobody likes them, but accepts them nevertheless and understands their need in the ecosystem.

Everyone is trying to avoid the lane or the line of vehicles with the maximum number of red lights.
In Silicon Valley, everyone is trying to avoid the company that has the maximum number of problems.

Indian Traffic and Silicon Valley Environment, nobody wants to follow you if your destination is an imaginary market, especially if it is to a disneyland that doesn’t exist, you might bet that there isn’t a way to get out of this traffic at least until the part where there isn’t a road anymore.

People might be interested in building a new road or a new disneyland for that sake, but remember we’re equating time for money and other resources.
The questions reflects into:

Do you have the time, money or resources ?

Roads aren’t well formed at all places.
This holds true for both research fields based companies on Blockchain,AI, VR or AR in Silicon Valley and our Indian Roads. Roads that are tread by many are built well by people concerned unlike the other roads where nobody treads.

One might equate jaywalkers, cows, pedestrians, humps as roadblocks encountered while raising funds, customer problems, client disatisfaction or low margins.

We move on. Sure we curse and clench our teeth, but
We tell ourselves, “This too shall pass.

We don’t and aren’t supposed to lose sight of the big picture, our destination.

Good Luck !

//Edited:
Death is imminent, but nobody wants it just yet.
Everyone lives with a hope for a better life.
We can probably make a difference.
We can change the world.

For anybody that’s thinking along these lines, either in traffic in India or while trying to change the world at Silicon Valley, going on the right Lane isn’t always worth it.
(Pun intended)

Why ?

Firstly, You get killed.
India is a country where you’re supposed to drive on the left side of the lane.

Secondly, You’ll end up being another guy that did this or that.
Sure, making Mistakes is encouraged while learning, not while changing the world.
There is too much at stake.
Making the same mistake will get you under the wheels of a different vehicle this time, not much of a difference.

Do not reinvent the wheel.
There are laws and standards for a reason.
Understand why.

Innovate, improvise or move out.

You don’t want people giving you that look when you’re going at 10km/Hr in a straight line in the middle of the road.
