Judicial Watch has released 750 pages of new documents, including twenty email exchanges not previously turned over to the State Department. The emails show that Huma Abedin, who was serving as Deputy Chief of Staff for Hillary Clinton, routinely coordinated with the Clinton Foundation to ensure that individuals (including foreign officials) who donated to the Clinton Foundation would have preferential direct access to the Secretary of State.

In over a dozen email exchanges, Abedin gave expedited access to Hillary Clinton for donors who had contributed large sums to the Clinton Foundation.

This raises further questions about whether the State Department and the Clinton Foundation coordinated improperly while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.

Earlier this month, CNN reported that three separate FBI field offices wanted to open a criminal investigation into the relationship between the Clinton Foundation and the State Department during Hillary Clinton’s tenure, but were blocked from doing so by the Justice Department.
