Do you remember the day when you first tried your hand in cooking? You spread a lot of litters. You wasted a lot of oil. You had no idea how much salt you would need to add. You ended up adding more spice just to make sure your follies are subdued. I ain’t gonna comment how the taste would come out!!! (Well, that was my story, at least…hehe!!)

Think of a group of lads in the mid twenties cumulatively wanting to change the whole financial game. Those crazy men planned to make a new product out of already existing entity.

The whole world was busy resolving one single problem and then everyone joined them with the same idea; same product just to increase competitions. Some offered better, faster and more complete solutions. But nobody paid heed to the other side of the road. One road was busy with thousands of service providers and the other was completely deserted where there were people completely deprived of an advantage they deserved.

These young men, extremely passionate to bring revolution in finance, peeped through the fence and found a wider road. They decided to Takeoff with their idea and brought forth India’s First Ever Online Mutual Fund Distribution Platform for Businesses.

They named it Takeoff that was incarnated to resolve an enduring issue of businesses i.e. lack of exponential growth through investment. Data say, only close to 0.8% non-individuals invest in mutual funds whereas they contribute to almost 46% of the Assets Under Management. Remaining are either not aware of the possibilities and opportunities of mutual fund investment or they skip the monotonous offline documentation and onboarding procedure. These people, in the name of Convey, kept spreading awareness among their 1.5 million YouTube subscribers about investment and then jumped into resolving realtime problem.

But what actually drained? The journey, in fact, took away a lot of dreams. As youngsters these people dreamt of exploring the world; of leading a peaceful life of pomp. They drained them all. They entered the realm of experience. They drained the musical journey of youth that got them rid of sitting with friends for hours on a culvert and discussing the whereabouts of their closed world. They drained their friends and their family.

If you are creating something new, you are often deprived of the existing “OLD”. But, you walk along the boulevard of woven dreams.
