- Helped our players and community earn $TAKI through token buyback initiatives and reward campaigns
- Created a deflationary tokenomic system by buying and burning millions of $TAKI.
We’ve accomplished so much, yet there is still more we aim to achieve to continue propelling Taki Games to new heights.
To continue this momentum, we have decided to focus all of our energy on this strategy, which means we will discontinue support for Taki Social. Launched two years ago, the Taki.app social platform has made a significant impact in the market and breathed life into $TAKI, which opened up the opportunity to build the Web3 Zynga — a revolutionary player-owned mobile gaming network set to transform the web3 gaming landscape.
As part of winding down Taki.app / Taki Social, we will be phasing out new user sign-ups, user rewards, and purchasing capabilities. Existing users will still be able to withdraw their $TAKI tokens, with the following considerations:
- Staking: Accelerated staking to maturity
- Selling user coins: Fee removed (with a minimum of 50 user coins retained)
- Withdrawal limits: Daily limits removed (lifetime limits remain)
- The site will enter maintenance mode for one month before its final shutdown
