Launching a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company has never been more popular, or easier than it is today. Especially because of plug and play tools like cloud hosting platforms (Google Cloud or AWS), website builders (Squarespace or Wix), and email platforms like…well…Mailjet.

And the thing is, early on, email is a SaaS company’s best friend. It is key throughout the first phase of generating interest and proving the concept with newsletters and beta test announcements.

And then when the launch date arrives, email plays a crucial role in on-boarding users, nurturing them, and continuing to educate them on new features.

Right now, I’m sure you can think of 5 or 6 email templates you absolutely need to have when launching and growing a SaaS product. The welcome email, a password reset, a free trial offer, etc. The thought of having to design, code, and write copy for each of these is a bit daunting, especially for early-stage startups who barely have time to order ramen on UberEats.

Cross “Email Templates” off your To-Do List

At Mailjet, we wanted to help these companies out a little bit, so we thought about all those different email templates every SaaS company needs to get their email program started. And we didn’t stop at 5 or 6 templates, in fact, we identified 14 key templates that all SaaS companies need.

We then wanted to make it easy for everyone to get their templates completely personalized with their own branding, including logos and colors.

That’s how our SaaS Email Template Generator was born. In just a few simple steps you can download 14 free templates for use on Mailjet or your preferred email platform.

First, enter your domain.

Then, review your 14 branded templates. Edit the color or logo if needed (but we’re betting you won’t need to).

Download the templates in HTML or MJML format.

And then upload to your email platform to start sending.

Here’s a quick video to show you how this will work…The fact that it’s 30 seconds long is a good indicator of just how easy you’re going to find this tool.

Obviously, we’re partial to Mailjet as your email platform for sending, but you’ll also find it will be a lot easier for you too.

When you upload an MJML file (a responsive framework for coding emails) to Mailjet, you can edit and customize these designs using our drag-and-drop editor. No need to dive into the code. That said, you can use the HTML to upload into any email platform you’d like, you’ll just need to edit the code of the template.

With that, in literally a couple of seconds, you can cross “email templates” of your ever-expanding to-do list.

Let us know what you think in the comments below and on Twitter, but more importantly, be sure to share your templates. Have you made some cool changes that you think the world would like? Share your emails with our friends at Really Good Emails as well!
