This week we took our partnership (relationship?) with Product Hunt to the next level. Short of moving in together, we did the next best thing by partnering on their brand new program for startups and growing businesses: Founder Club.

I’ll let Product Hunt themselves explain Founder Club, as communicated in their most recent Daily Digest Email.

At Product Hunt, we see a ton of product launches from makers with different backgrounds and levels of experience happen every day. But what happens after a successful launch? 🚀

As ideas start to grow into actual businesses, the number of tools and services you need to keep operations running smoothly grows as well. Here at Product Hunt, we currently use 39 (!) products across our team.

When it comes to choosing and implementing these services as a founder, the sheer amount of options can be overwhelming — and prices can add up quickly. So we’re launching a solution: Founder Club.

We have always shared a few core values with Product Hunt, which has made them a truly perfect user of Mailjet. Of course, we don’t have favorites 😏… but… our shared passions have made our partnership with Product Hunt fantastic over the years.

  1. Passion for Email: Product Hunt was founded as a newsletter and, from these humble email beginnings, have grown to be a global brand. They might be bordering on a digital movement, but they are still rooted in their Daily Digest, sent to millions every week.
  2. Passion for Collaboration: Effective collaboration is at the heart of everything that Product Hunt does, whether it’s being so prolific and productive as a remote company, or building an army of brands through Founder Club, to add value to a startup’s journey.
  3. Passion for Startups: Product Hunt makes the startup process as seamless as possible for millions of brands, hackers, and hobbyists. They can go from idea, to validation, to launch, and now (with Founder Club) to scale.

We also have had a pretty great time working with them to setup and optimize their email strategy.

To make sure Founder Club was truly valuable to startups, and scaling businesses everywhere, Product Hunt curated some of the top products and services. Alongside Mailjet (offering free access to our services for one year) are such killer products as Intercom, Hubspot, AWS, Asana, and about 23 more!

But we didn’t partner with Product Hunt out of the goodness of our heart, or at least that’s not the only reason. We also fundamentally believe that the same value we bring to large emailers like Product Hunt (and brands like Honeywell, Microsoft, and Johnston & Johnson), we can bring to growing brands like startups. We already have a partnership with incubators like Station F in France, and YCombinator in the US, which has resulted in great partnerships with growing startups like College Pulse. This was the natural next step.

Just as Founder Club will effectively help transition early stage startups to the next phase of their growth path by providing easy and affordable access to products and services, our goal at Mailjet is to help any company, regardless of size, scale their email marketing programs.

Congratulations to Product Hunt on the launch, and be sure to check out Founder Club if you’re looking to take your startup to the next level! 🚀
