Joe Rogan was the first major comedian to announce that he was leaving Los Angeles. Several weeks ago, Rogan officially announced his upcoming move to Texas during a conversation with Spartan Race CEO and founder Joe De Sena. It appears as though he may have started a trend. Several other comedians, including his close friend Joey Diaz, seem to be following in his footsteps.

A few weeks back, Diaz announced that he was considering moving, but he made it official in the most recent episode of his podcast, The Church of What’s Happening Now. Joey confirmed he and his producer Lee Syatt would be leaving after August. Diaz will be returning to his home state of New Jersey, and his producer Lee would be headed to Milwaukee.

Brendan Schaub, co-host of The Fighter and the Kid Podcast, has also expressed interest in leaving the state. In an August 6th episode, Schaub reacted to Diaz’s announcement and indicated he could move as well. He noted that the only thing keeping him in L.A. was his The Fighter and the Kid podcast with Bryan Callen.
