Welcome and thanks for stopping by to check out Taki. We built Taki to help creators find more personal and engaging ways to connect directly with fans. We think personalized videos are a great addition to building your online brand, offering great value and more meaningful connections between you and your fans. While fans can comment on your content across a variety of platforms, they rarely get the chance to have a 1 on 1 experience with you. A Taki video is a great way to connect with and inspire your fans and build a more engaging relationship.

Step 1: Request to join Taki

To get started on your Taki journey, send us your info so we can reach out and talk with you. Apply to join here.

Step 2: Install the Taki Creator app and build your profile

We made the Taki Creator app for creators to manage your requests. (The Taki Creator app is for creators only.) Within the app, you will create your profile, set your price, and manage your fan requests, including recording or uploading your personalized videos.

Key 1: Making your profile video

Your profile video is the first thing your fans will see and hear when they visit your Taki profile page. It’s your sales pitch, your call to action. Take some time to think about what you want to offer. You can always re-record your profile video as time goes on as you find different ways to connect with your fans.

Check out how Danny Worsnop encourages his fans to request personalized videos.

Key 2: Setting a price

You know your brand and business best, so you decide the price for a personalized video. Keep in mind what is affordable for your fan base. You may want to start with a low initial price ($5) when getting started for basic shoutouts and then gradually increase your price depending on demand and the types of videos you will do for fans. (For example, singing a song typically takes longer than saying “Happy Birthday,” so if you’re a singer/musician, you may want to set a higher price for longer musical pieces.)

Step 3: Promote yourself

Now that your profile is set up with your intro video and a price, it’s time to let your fans know you’re on Taki! We recommend using your social media profiles and content to get the word out. We’ve seen great immediate booking engagement from posting your intro video to social media, and adding your Taki profile link in your bio link section has also proven to lead fans to check out your Taki profile and make a booking.

Step 4: Have Fun!

Have fun with it! A Taki video is guaranteed to make someone’s day, maybe even your own!
