Be sure to stop by the Welcome Center and pick up a brochure and map of the metropolitan before heading to your room!
The Lighthouse
The pinnacle of exclusivity, the Lighthouse suite features open-air sleeping on the very planks of wood that were built for structural purposes long ago. If you desire sea-sighting rather than sight-seeing as far as the eye can see, this is the place to be.
Day and night the light spins around in all directions, guiding airplane crash victims and unfortunate sailors to Rapture’s nautical gateway.
Bring a warm sleeping bag — it gets pretty cold after dark.

Mercury Suites
The Mercury Suites will be the pinnacle of your stay here in Rapture. Exquisitely spacious and sprawling with elegant decor, even the most discerning of guests will be completely comfortable.
These rooms were reserved for the most famous citizens of Rapture’s society, including individuals such as Frank Fontaine, Brigid Tenenbaum and Yi Suchong.

Adonis
The luxury resort of Rapture, the Adonis suites feature lavish amenities for distinguished guests with expensive taste, including a full-service Plasmid and Tonic therapy center.
Note: Your family must be of a high pedigree in order to reserve a room.
Stay under the sea without the hassle of waiting for the Bathysphere to equalize air pressure all the way down to the sea bottom!

Olympus Heights
The luxury suites in Olympus Heights feature a bustling nightlife for those who want to create more memories to bring back to the surface.

Apollo Square
The middle-market rooms in Apollo Square offer decent amenities with a modest budget. The architecture is reminiscent of the Rapture Civil War that occured in these very apartments!
Caution: The wreckage from a train crash has prevented access to all exits, so please utilize the ones that are available.

Pauper’s Drop
Looking for a place to shop without having to bump shoulders with the high class? Pauper’s Drop has what you seek. Recently renovated by the late people’s champion, Augustus Sinclair, there are several places to shop and the Fishbowl Diner serves eats that are to die for.
There is a unique ambience to this area, considering the original dwellers fought the ideals of the creator of this undersea getaway.

Siren Alley
The low-cost no-frills option, Siren Alley is where the builders and architects used to rest their heads.
Quaint features like rooms with no doors, dark alley lighting and intrusive individuals will make you feel right home, assuming you are from the lower class or the streets. The church that was once operated by Father Simon Wales at Pumping Station 5 is a recommended stop for this district.
These days it has literally nothing you want, unless you’re searching for a plasmid-related disease to add to your parasitic body.

Sights
There are plenty of sights to see in all of the unique and amazing geography and decor of Rapture. Explore, and let your curiosity lead you to new discoveries!
Arcadia
The lush botanical gardens of Arcadia will brighten your otherwise dreary day, while reminding you of your home on land.
Be sure to drop by the Farmer’s Market for some fresh produce straight from the source!
Hephaestus
A geothermal plant that derives its energy from the active undersea volcanoes, Hephaestus packs the heat to warm up your stay.
Note: This area is under major repair due to a recent overload of the system.
Dionysus Park
Another beautiful park beneath the waves, constructed by Dr. Sofia Lamb. She utilized this park to promote the arts and her ideals in social unity.
Volunteer opportunity — Make Rapture great again! We will be spending a significant amount of time in Dionysus Park and other select locations cleaning off the graffiti the cultists left behind.
Fontaine Futuristics
The site of origin for the core of what Rapture represents, Fontaine Futuristics is the place where the Little Sisters and Alpha series Big Daddies were designed and bioengineered.
In addition, the Rumbler series Big Daddies were once assembled on site at this facility.
Nearby, you can view the very labs where the different plasmids were once manufactured and tested.
Note: For your safety, please stay clear of the area cordoned off with caution tape titled ‘Fontaine’. We are currently in the process of converting this section into a display featuring the mastermind himself, Frank Fontaine! His body was found here, perfectly preserved and bloated from what we have concluded to be a severe overdose of ADAM, the genetic fuel discovered and used for splicing DNA here in Rapture.
Neptune’s Bounty
The fisherman’s wharf, Neptune’s Bounty, will have you singing the rash songs a sailor in no time.
This district was formerly a cover for Frank Fontaine’s smuggling operations. Traveling deeper within the bowels of the port lies the Smuggler’s Hideout, which served as the base of operations for this smuggling ring.
Warning: We have been notified of a sea fungus invasion at the docks. We are implementing measures to freeze it and stop any further spreading.
Minerva’s Den
The center of Rapture’s advanced technologies, Minerva’s Den features locations such as Rapture Central Computing, McClendon Robotics, and Air-Tite Archives. It is also the former dwelling of the famed Reed Wahl and contains a special machine graveyard attraction nearby!
Rapture Central Computing runs the automations around the city.
McClendon Robotics manufactures any and all new automated products for Rapture’s benefit.
Air-Tite Archives functions as a storage facility for guests who utilize the pneumo delivery system while staying in Rapture.
Warning: NEVER integrate any of your electronic devices with the computer system. The city’s code is proprietary property!
Attractions
Rapture is replete with exciting attractions that can not be seen anywhere else in the world!
Ryan’s Amusements
We’re not entirely sure what about Ryan Amusements is amusing, but we gather that it is still a place to stop for entertainment purposes. Based on the existing rides, the original denizens were taught different ideals than us surface folk.
We are attempting to revamp the area to its original luster and add a few more attractions with ‘modernized’ ideals as the focus.
There is an interesting tour of the history of Rapture built from voice recordings engineered over animatronic models. Much of the tour is not functioning properly and is being remodeled.
Fort Frolic
Love to shop? Head over to Fort Frolic and hit the shops. Once managed by the famous Sander Cohen, this was the center of the arts for Rapture.
The deals down here are hotter than Hephaestus! If you see an item you like, simply take it! With the manager gone, we have no one watching the shops.
Be careful if you break any shop windows. The security system is still active and will make sure you do not leave the area with any valuable items.
Proving Grounds
This museum was converted into the training grounds for Rapture’s main line of defense, the Big Daddies! Watch as they transform from ordinary human into armored abomination.
Try on your own suit of armor and even acquire their scent to become one of them!
Point Prometheus
Point Prometheus is the site of the secret educational facility where young female girls were converted to little sisters and raised under the impression that the Big Daddies were their protectors.
Warning: You will need to sign a waiver at the Welcome Center if you plan on bringing your female child here.

Feel the power course through your veins! These extremely potent mixtures will adjust your genes to handle the powers of a god! Free your mind from the expectations of society and become your true self!

Eve
A rejuvenating and replenishing solution for the body that is modified by Plasmids.
Doctors recommend taking Eve regularly to maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle. It is also considered one of the most used and easily obtained ‘drugs’ in Rapture!
Note: Use of Eve required if taking Plasmids in any capacity.

Salty’s Chips
Salty’s salty sea salt potato chips with genuine sea salt are the most savory potato chips ever eaten by the saltiest sea dogs!
Warning: Not recommended for those with thyroid issues.
Hop-Up Cola
Need a little extra pep in your step? Hop-Up Cola is the beverage of choice for your energy needs! If you’re not yet up to taking Plasmids or Tonics, this is a great way to start the fun!
Aloof Cat Food
It doesn’t seem like food we would eat, but we found it down here — and lots of it! Try it for free — you just need to pilfer the can for yourself from any crate, drawer, tin or other compartment that might carry something.
Travel
The city undersea presents unique challenges for travel, which allows for unique innovations! We have multiple vehicle types to fit your navigating fancy.
Bathysphere
Try out the Bathysphere if you plan on traversing multiple levels of the complex.
Caution: Enter at your own risk. The Bathysphere tends to operate intermittently and is not puncture-proof. We have maintenance technicians currently repairing the system.
Atlantic Express Depot
Take a ride on the Atlantic Express for a quick run around the metro.
Note: The railway gets jammed up after each trip, so there will be no multi-location travel allowed.
Safety and Security
Our top priority is our concerns for the safety and comfortability of our guests. Because of this, we host a number of measures to protect the visitors to our unique city, such as mobile armored defense, a medical center and a prison.
Be mindful. The locals are extremely sensitive and do not take kindly to judgement from outsiders.
Feel free to take photographs anywhere you like within the city. Avoid accidentally capturing the citizens of Rapture for your protection.
Caution: There are many areas closed off to the public at this time due to safety concerns. The city is under massive reconstruction and we respectfully request that all guests remain within the cordoned areas and leave the maintenance crew to their work.

Big Daddy and Big Sister
Caution: Genetically engineered armored defenders have been built to police the city and ensure the safety of those within the walls. Although we feel this to be the case, we generally recommend avoiding them. In fact, do your best not to disturb them — especially if there is a little girl around.
Medical Pavilion
A once world-class medical center exists in the bowels of the city. I wouldn’t recommend getting sick though — the doctor last on duty, Dr. Steinman, was not a fan of irregularities.
If you have an ailment, it would be less harmful to your health to avoid care altogether.
Persephone
We maintain a secure prison facility on site to ensure the clinically insane do not run free. Built and managed by the late Augustus Sinclair, it is a hardened and protected facility to ensure the safety of our guests. At one point it even housed the infamous Dr. Sofia Lamb!
It is not nearly as big as it once was, due to a discovered instability in the framework. Most of the prison fell into the trench it sits above.
