Selected to be the first Commanding Officer of №5 Jet Squadron and ordered to get his unit active as soon as possible, Squadron Leader Harsha Abeywickrama faced an uphill task. Thankfully, he was allowed to hand-pick a small team to train on the Chinese FT-5 jet trainers which were due in a few months.
