I am sure we all felt guilty about eating ice cream at some point. Icecream is an indulgence. I can’t remember one time I was feeling down and eating ice cream didn't help. Icecream, some could say, is magical.

Today, I was feeling pretty ok. In fact, some could say, it was a good day. God bless.

Yet, I was passing by Coldstone in the mall, and guess what? I stopped to ask if my favorite red velvet flavor was there, but it wasn’t. I was given the Lotus flavor to taste even without asking. I liked it. I asked for the bubblegum flavor, then I asked for the cheesecake flavor.

Long story short, I bought one. I got the smallest one, not because it was the cheapest, but it was because it had the least calories. I would feel less guilty if I had just a small scope of ice cream for dinner.

It ended up feeling too sweet on my tastebuds and I had a bag of chips. I completely murdered my so-called “diet”.

What’ s interesting though it not how I ruined my diet. What’s interesting is that I felt guilty for the money spent on the ice cream. Well, it is unnecessary spending, an unhealthy one.

I wonder what made me buy it in the first place. After all my favorite flavor wasn’t available.

It’s the damn tasting flavors for free thing. Watch out for that, maybe not for money, but for those calories!
