Ukraine and Kenya: the Begining of a Disturbed Ending
Craig Austin Lang met Alex Jared Zwiefelhofer in Ukraine in 2017. According to Zwiefelhofer, they were part of a volunteer battalion fighting Russian separatists at the time. This connection marked the beginning of their alliance in a crime. They both allegedly traveled to Kenya to continue their armed involvement mission. However, their war endeavors fell short when they were detained at the South Sudan border while trying to cross over. This led to their deportation, temporarily halting their international escapade.
