Pole Dance in the Sky

I heard that one time a bird decided that she would give up on flying and sell telephone poles instead. The job went well for awhile, but one day the boss came in and — out of nowhere! — exclaimed that “The jewelry store’s on fire!”

“Don’t worry,” the spectacular and strong-winged bird reminded him. “There’s nothing left there anyway.”
