There she was, standing over me with clenched fists and teeth. Looking down at me in my armchair with eyes full of hatred. Her mouth was formed into an ugly sneer that was between getting ready to cry or lash out. She was waiting for me to answer — answer to the question that she had wanted to ask for thirty years.
