About Tin Can:

Tin Can is a Live Mobile Audio Broadcasting Application that strives to provide creators with a platform to connect with like-minded creators. We believe that there is a creator in all of us, and by providing a platform where people can easily express their thoughts, experiences, and stories in a warm safe community open to listening, showing respect, and practicing compassion and empathy, we hope that they can find inspiration, motivation, and their creative voice in an audio space and tap into their inner creator to bring their stories and audio creations to life and to find their audience.

In a world where visual content creation is easily accessible, profitable, and marketable, we hope to give the tools for audio content creation as easily accessible as well. Audio creations can range from music, beats, lyrics, poetry, spoken words, podcasts, storytelling, and even Live broadcasting. A place where you can find inspiration, fellow creators, audio mentors, and supporters. We stand that not only physical attributes are engaging, but also your voice, thoughts, stories, and your soul. We matter in this world, and so do our thoughts, and we believe that our voices can stand and be let out in this world and we have so much to gain from it too.

Community Guidelines

We devised these Community Guidelines so you can help us build and protect our community. By signing in to Tin Can, you agree to these guidelines. We’re committed to these guidelines and we hope you are too. Violation of any or all of these guidelines may result in terminated lives, deleted posts, or banned accounts.

❌Age Restriction

  • Tin Can is explicitly intended to be used by individuals 18 years of age and older. Anyone younger is prohibited from using our services.

❌Personal Information

  • Keep all interactions and messages within Tin Can. Refrain from sharing your personal information or other user’s (e.g. SNS outside of Tin Can, phone number, address, private conversation screenshots, etc.)Any interaction in real life (outside meet-ups/dating) or other media platforms IS NOT within the jurisdiction of Tin Can. Any and all issues related to interactions outside of the Tin Can Mobile Application, Tin Can and The Social Radio Company will not be held liable.

❌Explicit Content

  • Highly explicit sexual content and behaviors with the intent for sexual gratification are prohibited. (e.g. suggestive background and audio, nudity or partial nudity, etc.)

❌Harassment & Cyber Bullying

  • Violent behavior, hate speech, and any other abusive language/behavior (direct or indirect) intended to threaten and target individuals is strongly prohibited.

❌ Contempt Against Admin

  • Persistent disobedience to and/or open disrespect toward any of the staff of Tin Can. Defacing Tin Can instead of sending a constructive report/suggestion to any of our contact outlets and spreading false complaints and allegations about Tin Can in-app or outside the app will be considered Contempt Against Admin.

❌ Intellectual Property (IP) Infringement: Copyright Infringement

  • Copyright infringement is illegal. We respect creators/artists and their properties, just like how we respect you as a creator and your properties.

❌Other Illegal Acts

  • Talk, use, and selling of drugs, sex, gun, gambling, and other illegal activities on the app are prohibited.

⚠️ Tin Can holds the right to terminate live, delete content, and ban users without prior notice ⚠️

⚠️ Warning System (this system will continue to evolve to cater to user needs)

Not every one that violates the guidelines intended to violate them. Everyone is given a soft warning message the first time they get reported, it will be without penalty. Continuous violation of the guidelines will result in a warning (2nd email) and a 7-day ban where the user will not be able to access Tin Can for a week. After accumulating a 3rd warning email, users will permanently be and will be banned from Tin Can.

Please Help Us Keep Tin Can Clean and Safe

⚫ Tin Can is a place where any and all topics can be discussed, controversial or otherwise, where people find other like-minded creators, and not shun or judge people that don’t have the same beliefs. A place where people can hold discussions where they can actively listen to other people’s points of view and understand where they’re coming from. “Attack the topic, not the person.” The mission is not for everyone to be friends, but for users to find their friends.

⚫Tin Can strives to build communities through interaction by communication. Users are encouraged to Post and Create content that is interactive, thought-provoking, and Inspiring. We urge you to refrain from spam and trash posting.

⚫ As a creator-first platform, we expect everyone in the community to keep a discerning eye around the app. If you see any Live, Post, or User that you think may have violated our guidelines, please help us by reporting it In-app or by sending a report to support@socialradiocompany.com

⚫ When reporting please provide proof and details such as post links, user nickname/username, screenshots, and screen recording. This will help our team investigate as quickly as possible.

⚫ As an open comfortable space, you might find posts or accounts that you don’t like but do not violate any of the guidelines. In these instances, you can unfollow or block the person.

⚫ We encourage actively talking and communicating within the community in solving misunderstandings and disagreements whether private or in the community.

Reporting Guidelines

We appreciate the enthusiasm for keeping our community clean and safe! These are Reporting Guidelines we need the community to abide by when reporting a user believed to be violating the Tin Can Community Guidelines.

⚠️ PLEASE SEND REASON AND PROOF FOR REPORTING ⚠️

  1. User Reports with Reason and Description (Without Proof): The reported User will be put under monitoring but will not be sent a warning unless deemed by moderators as violating the guidelines.
  2. User Reports with Reason and Description (With Proof): The reported User will receive a warning mail if the proof is concrete enough for the reason for reporting.
  3. Multiple User Reports WITHOUT Reason/Description or Proof will be flagged as spam reports unless proven otherwise.

User Report Mail Must Include the Following:

1.Reason

Reason Includes:

  • Minor / Underage
  • Information extortion (Personal Information)
  • Explicit Content
  • Harassment & Cyber Bullying
  • Contempt Against Admin
  • Intellectual Property (IP) Infringement: Copyright Infringement
  • Illegal Acts on App

2.Description

  • A detailed explanation as to why the user is being reported.

3.Proof

  • Send Screenshots and/or Screen Recording
