Free from the cause of the law of sin and death

Man was lost as he was completely sold out. All man ever did after the first fall was to drift further and further away from the father.

Recall that the Father made man in His very image and likeness, so the death that came upon man due to his trespass was alienation from this nature, of which he was once a partaker.

So when man chose to hearken to the words of the devil over the instructions of God, man choose freely the lordship of the devil over the lordship of God.

So we see this man drift further and further in his new-found nature of Sin, away from God.

All man did was seek connection with the supernatural, and yet was nowhere close to finding God. So Man began to manifest all sorts of deeds of unrighteousness and invent variations of trespasses that show the nature he was now made of or better put his newfound nature.

We see from Cain throughout the earth man moved and spread the cruelty of unrighteousness

and reaped bountifully its rewards of hardship, sorrow, grief, wickedness, hate, lack, sickness, name them all and death crowned them all.

This was a total sidetrack in the opposite direction, the intent of the father. Man has completely lost it.

What can be done?

So for decades man lived without entertaining any thought for God.

Yet in all this God was working out a way back for Man, a way to reconcile and recreate man in His own self-same nature from which man fell after rejecting.

Man betrayed God. He sold out to the devil, and it grieved God greatly, to the point God repented Himself for creating man.

God sought a man through this time who would walk with Him. {I Should say that at this point, Man could still choose between right and wrong because God gave Man a conscience, so man was directly responsible for his every action after the fallen man through Adam. But man was so completely cool with every idea, he got in his flesh and chose to stay in the flesh. Yes staying to do the bidding of the Father would seem very difficult on those days cause the devil had legal grounds as Man gave him the authority given to man by God after creation}.

God sought and found Noah who was perfect before God. So starting with Noah, God looked upon Man with grace and saw man worth saving.

So the work of salvation began once again.

This was to fulfil the verdict in the Garden that proclaimed that “He shall put enmity the serpent and the seed of the woman”.

From the days of Noah and after, man still chose against God [one will wonder what wrong God ever did to man that He always got the wrong side of man’s choices]

God started over once and again after Noah and introduced Himself to a man called Abram.

Here God once more mentions the word seed as He originally did in the garden when He talked

of the seed of the woman, referring to the same seed.

God worked with Man and revealed Himself in ways their sin nature could allow them to see Him.

God sought for man to be like Him once again, in His image and likeness so there comes the need for a Ransom.

Since man sold out, then he must be bought back but this time the price of purchase (redemption) must far outshine and surpass the initial one.

Here come Jesus… Jesus… This same Jesus who is the radiant image and expression of the Father, the very one with the father.

He felt the heart of the Father, knew the thought of the Father, and saw the love the Father had for this lost creation… Man.

He came into the earth as the Father has proclaimed, “seed of the woman”. Completely

without the nature of the fallen man.

He was conceived of the Spirit of God. That means He had the very nature of God, the same nature man had in the garden and this time is sustained by the very life of God. {in the garden, Man was sustained by the breath and very Spirit of God}.

He this Jesus born in the form of a man and yet in the nature of God. It was like God in the flesh. Yes, that was what it was.

Totally God and Totally man. Hallelujah.

This is the redemption of man.

So when He died accused of sin, He died as the ransom for sin. See Justice works as If one dies guilty of a crime he did not commit, by the law, the price for the crime has been done with as long as the culprit agrees that the condemned stands in his place when the one to be condemned gives consent. In simple terms, the law makes provision for a volunteer to be punished on behalf of the actual culprit. Then the culprit by law takes the identity of the volunteer and the volunteer switch place with the culprit. That simply means that the volunteer becomes the culprit (criminal) while the culprit becomes declared as free as the volunteer before the switch.

This is called Redemption.

This was our case with Jesus. Jesus came in our stead.

He took our nature on the cross, and we took His nature. So this life we now live in the flesh, we live by the faith in the Son of God. Hallelujah, I am redeemed! This is our Victory in

Christ Jesus. That we can declare that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, in that

we understand that Jesus is the Righteousness of God, so as much as Jesus is declared righteous,

by the reason of believing on the work of Jesus on Calvary, in like manner, we are declared

Righteous.

We can boldly say that as Jesus is now in heaven, even so we are on earth. Because we have

come to understand that when He said we shall receive power to become the sons of God,

Righteousness was part of that power.

Hallelujah. I am a son of God.

Glory to God.

Amen.
