ICYMI: In the Kitchen with Amy Kritzer

On this week’s episode of In The Kitchen, cookbook author, food blogger, and television producer Gabi Moskowitz chatted with Amy Kritzer of What Jew Wanna Eat. The foodies talked all about classic Jewish recipes with a twist, such as rugelach with a pumpkin fig filling and brisket braised in coffee or whiskey, recipes that Amy adapted from her bubbe’s own personal collection. She also wrote a recently-released cookbook, highlighting some of her best recipes.

For the book, I knew I wanted to make new versions of all my favorite Jewish desserts. Babka, rugelach, honey cake. But still pay homage to the originals. It took a lot of testing and eating!

In her recurring Talkshow “In the Kitchen,” Gabi sits down with a fellow foodie to talk recipes, technique, and all things delicious. Join in on the fun next week and ask the experts some cooking questions of your own, or better yet, grab the app and start a Talkshow of your own!
