Facts About Tamatem’s Top Four Games
Here are some facts about our favorite top four games, they vary from drifting a Nissan pick up truck, to delivering pizza with Awad to testing levels of stupidity.
Shake the Metal
Fact 1: It was #4 on the racing charts on the iOS store
Upon its release in December 2015 Shake the Metal, was the fourth most downloaded mobile game on the US iOS store.
Fact 2: The game hit #1 in several Arab countries on the same day
Shake the Metal smashed the charts in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and the UAE on December 4, 2015.
Fact 3: Shake the Metal was only released in Arabic
Only the sequel Shake the Metal Rush, had an English version.
Awad the Delivery King
Fact 1: Despite being targeted to the Jordanian market, it hit #1 in Saudi Arabia
Regardless of the fact that Awad is a cartoon character especially famous in Jordan, Awad the Delivery King was #1 in the Saudi Arabian App Store as well as the Jordanian store.
Moron Test
Fact 1: The English version never made it to the Middle East App Store
The original version never made it to the top 100 on the iOS App Store. After we localized the game for the Arab region it topped the charts and got to #1.
Escape the Past
Fact 1: It was our first paid game
Escape the Past was localized after we contributed with French studio 3DDuo, the free version only included one level and the paid version included all the levels.
Fact 2: The game topped two charts at the same time
Both the paid and free versions topped the Middle East charts on the App Store, which were never on the charts before localizing the game.
