Tamizh Padam 2.0 Teaser — Tamil Movie Updates

The highly anticipated teaser of the forthcoming parody film ‘Tamizh Padam 2.0’ is finally out and the film seems to be a no-holds-barred comedy flick. Going by the video, ‘Tamizh Padam 2.0’ takes several jibes at Tamil cinema and politicians throughout the teaser.

In fact, the teaser begins with Shiva taking a dig at Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam. ‘Tamizh Padam 2.0’ also makes a spoof out of blockbuster films like ‘Mersal’, ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Vikram Vedha’ to name a few. From the teaser, it’s safe to say that CS Amudhan and Shiva are back in style.

‘Tamizh Padam 2.0’ is a sequel to the blockbuster parody film of the same name, which released in 2010. It opened to rave reviews from critics and became extremely successful at the box-office. Known for his wit and sarcasm, CS Amudhan recently issued a first-of-its-kind press release announcing the delay in release due to pending VFX work.

Produced by Y NOT Studios, the film stars Shiva, Disha Pandey, Ishwarya Menon and Sathish in the lead. ‘Tamizh Padam 2.0’ has music by Kannan and is expected to release in July.
