TaniGroup President and Co-Founder Pamitra Wineka Gets Award from ITB
“People work for money but go the extra mile for recognition, praise and rewards.”
The statement came from Dale Carnegie, American writer, self-improvement trainer and public speaker, when he spoke about the need for someone to achieve acknowledgement from other people at least once in their lives for the work they had done.
There is a sense of satisfaction and pride in our self when we can gain public recognition for the fruits of our work. But a person with leadership will not be satisfied with just one success; there is always an urge to reach beyond his or her limit.
Owing to the hard work with his team, Pamitra Wineka, President and Co-Founder of TaniGroup (TaniHub and TaniFund), was one of the awardees of Ganesa Widya Jasa Utama from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, in Bandung, West Java.
Pamitra received the prize for his effort in building agritech startup TaniGroup with other co-founders. He is considered a pioneer and a contributor to the empowerment of Indonesian farmers through digital innovation, which is proven through TaniHub, an e-commerce platform for agriculture products, and TaniFund, a peer-to-peer lending provider for farmers.
As an alumnus of ITB, Pamitra hopes to play a bigger role in improving Indonesia’s agriculture sector, so that farmers can reach better welfare.
The Ganesa Widya Jasa Utama is part of Ganesa Awards, an appreciation and acknowledgement given for Indonesian government officials, academicians, industry players and public figures who have shown significant contribution to the country’s development, and actively enhancing science, technology and art nationwide and globally.
