What we all know for sure is that college can be expensive. One of the amazing things about coming to UNE is that there are things that are included in our tuition that make tasks more simple. For example, UNE provides free laundry, wifi, heat, and printing.

As a freshman, it took me a few weeks before I realized how to print black and white copies for free here at school. I knew that it was such a great tool to have access to, but I didn’t know how exactly to use it. Come to find out, this is a super easy task that will become your best friend for the next 4 years.

5 Steps To Free Printing

1. Type in https://ecoprint.une.edu/MyPrintCenter/ into your browser. This will bring you straight to the ecoprint website that UNE uses. Save this to your bookmarks. This will make it easy to come back to without having to remember the url each time.

2. Log into the website using you UNE identification and password. This is the same login information that you use for your UOnline account.

3. After logging in, click the “upload” button on the top left to select a file from your computer. If you are printing something saved on google drive, be sure to save it to your computer as a .pdf or a .doc first.

4. Now that your files are on the site, you can select them and change the way it is printed at the bottom of the page. For example, you can make more copies or make your page double-sided.

5. When you are finished customizing how you would like it printed, simply locate a printer (there are 3 in the library and 1 in the commons), and swipe your card. Select print on the screen and you should see your work come to life in no time.

NOTE: What you upload to ecoprint will last 4 hours on the site. For example, if you upload your document at 8am, you have until 12pm to print, or else you will have to re-upload.

Printing at UNE is just one of the great features that our campus offers for free that we should all take advantage of. Now that you know how to use the printing system, you should have no problem handing in papers, printing out electronic files, and prepping for your next presentation.

Happy Printing!
