Save YouTube Video to Google Drive Tutorial

Have you ever seen a YouTube video you liked so much you wanted to keep it forever? With the way YouTube hands out copyright strikes like free candy, it’s best to save what you can, when you can. Any computer can do it too, with a Google account.

Step 1: Find your video.

Once you have opened the video you want to save, copy the URL and open a new tab.

Step 2: Convert to MP4

Open a trusted converter website. I am using https://youtubemp4.to/. Change the format to mp4 and begin.

Step 3: Download

Select a file to download. Quality will depend on download size.

Step 4: Upload

Open your Google account and use Drive. Under “New”, select “File Upload”.

Step 5: Select MP4

Select the MP4 you downloaded from your computer files and upload it to Google.

Congratulations! Your video has been saved forever. Just don’t forget your Google password.
