The Winners of the Tantalizing Fiction Contest
I feel so proud that Tantalizing Tales attracted such remarkable submissions
I expect every result article for a contest starts with — the decision has been so difficult.
I always wondered if the comment was a token remark. However, now that I’ve experienced hosting a contest and serving as a judge too, I fully grasp just how agonisingly challenging making the final choices can be.
The quality of the winning stories has exceeded all of our expectations. We have been trying to narrow the seven down to three all week and finally decided there will need to be four on the podium: The winner and three runner-ups. With a prize for each!
I want to start by thanking our anonymous sponsor for getting this competition ball rolling. Without their donation, we would not have been in the position to hold this competition. Not only that, we have gained some very talented writers along the way.
Our Journey
- In the middle of February, we announced the first ever Tantalizing Tales' fiction contest.
- When the doors closed at the end of March we had 24 entries.
