TAODUST’S REPORT FROM MALTA BLOCKCHAIN SUMMIT
Two days for the event, months of preparation, 10 people in a villa in St. Julian, the ancient continent’s blockchain headquarters, that’s how the TaoDust team comes to the most important European summit; a new era in the ancient continent.
A shining orange gave prominence to the stand, with only one inscription: TaoDust, because the simplicity is the first thing that impresses. The reception point was the key to networking, partnerships and direct exposition to the participants: all was ready.
DAY 1 — Our Reception
The first day was really intense, 5500 delegates, the stand was pleasantly stormed by visitors: countless the questions such as “What is TaoDust?”, “What is the equity crowdfunding?”, “Why are you better than the others?”. The most general questions are usually the most difficult, how can you articulate everything behind a new era in only a few words? “The first equity crowdfunding platform for startups on the blockchain”.
The team, composed by people of 8 different countries, answering not only all of the questions but also made enthusiasts and experts fall in love with the project by introducing the audience to the project and giving the audience all of the necessary material to deepen our proposal.
Dialogues, objections, explanations, and much enthusiasm colored the event; the business cards flew away as if they were premier rock concert tickets. The team improved itself investor after investor, competitor after competitor, explaining perfectly the geographical and financial gaps that the project covers.
6 pm, time’s up for all but not for the TaoDust team that returned to the villa in order to refine the presentation that will officially launched the project in front of the expert eyes of the attendees during the core event of the summit: The Blockchain Battle — A hard battle composed of fast but effective presentations followed by the presenters answers to the sharp questions of the judges.
DAY 2 — The Reason We Came
The day began with a particular calm — the little attendance not only allowed the team to examine the field of competitors and possible partnerships but also allowed them to think and discuss the most awaited event of the last months:
The Blockchain Battle.
15 participants, one winner, 100 thousand euro at stake: a unique opportunity.
12 pm — the contest begins, the competition is tough.
2 pm — Alan Tonetti, the CEO of TaoDust, took the stage. With a great determination, he explained from cover to cover the project, the innovation, the new era. The applause is all for Tao, we were among the possible winners.
3 pm — and the winner is… TaoDust? Unfortunately, we arrived in second place, no 100 thousand euros but the event had a huge resonance: shortly after, 6 VC’s arrived at the stand in order to ask more information about the project.
The victory, the real victory, arrived in the field.
6 pm — the curtains of the Malta Blockchain Summit closed, the event is only the first step of the TaoDust world tour, we already targeted London, New York, and Hong Kong.
The 2019 Malta A.I. & Blockchain Summit gave us an opportunity to show the industry our vision of a platform destined to revolutionize the world of investments is already a reality. We leave you with this as our final sentiment upon leaving the event:
