TapChief: A Year in Review
Looking back on the year that was 2017
2017 was a roller-coaster year at TapChief.
I’d be lying if I said every step that that we took resulted in a resounding success. Quite to the contrary, we realised

Come to think of it, that’s a part and parcel of the startup journey which is why it is so exciting. However, 2017 wasn’t nearly as bleak as I make it sound.
The Wins
- We launched TapChief 2.0, expanding the scope of engaging with Experts over Consultations, Remote Projects, On-site Contracts & more
- Expert earnings grew by over 17x from ’16, and are growing a steady pace of 30% MoM. This was a major win for us as we started seeing substantial signs and consistency in enabling professionals to monetize their expertise.

- The TapChief community grew to over 25000+ professionals, sharing their expertise on a daily basis.
The Takeaways
Looking back on TapChief 2017, we realised, almost everything we have achieved yet is dwarfed by the vision of what we want TapChief to be at its zenith.
Making expertise accessible to every individual and business, large or small, is what excites and energises us everyday.
And secondly, we are stronger on our belief that these #smallwins are merely the outcome of a strong community who believes in every little step that we take & supports us wholeheartedly.
