How we live, work, and spend money has changed drastically over the past decade.

The advent of smartphone technology allowed communities to be super-connected via virtual social networks, increasing communication and opening new channels to make and spend money.

In fact, smartphones have changed the face of entertainment, healthcare, banking and rapidly changing education, politics, and the workplace.

In fact, the global mobile workforce is expected to rise from the current 1.45 billion to 1.87 billion by 2022, according to the Global Mobile Workforce Forecast Update 2016–2022 from Strategy Analytics.

According to Techopedia, a mobile workforce refers to:

“ A group of employees who are scattered across various physical locations and are connected by computers, smartphones, and other devices via the global Internet.”

The mobile workforce groups are steeped in a mobile mindset, and they value employers who believe that work ethic and skill does not depend on clicking in and out at fixed times, at a fixed location.

In fact, going to work could mean you are staying home.

A future where you are able to take your mobile device anywhere with you and get serious work done is not just liberating, it’s the new norm.

A recent article from Entrepreneur.com featured 50 jobs you can do from home.

But I want to show the future of work from home and not just a standard job.

The future of work from home is all about the process of selecting images and labeling them by their names, also known as an image annotation.

Image Annotation is the technique of labeling the image data with certain outlines and keywords to make it recognizable for machines. The annotated images are used for computer vision, for machine learning, or train the computer systems developed on AI-based technology.

The increase in image data and computer vision applications requires a huge amount of data to be trained, by humans first.

Since people are actively seeking flexible working and data preparation represents over 80% of the time consumed in AI and Machine Learning projects, We at Taqadam.io were quick to respond.

TaQadam makes visual data AI-ready for computer vision training sets.

At TaQadam we help data-driven companies understand image data and assist with pre and post-processing the imagery.

Through our platform and mobile app, we take on the most tedious work from data engineers, optimize workflow, and bring trained annotators on demand to work on TaQadam proprietary annotation tools.

With gamification and mobile accessible work, we bring the opportunity to millennials to work from home.

We launched our Android mobile app in March 2018 with more than 500+ tested users across Lebanon through a set of training sessions, and workshops with partnerships on the ground like the American University of Beirut Tech for Good in Lebanon, and WorkWell in Iraq.

In simple 4 steps, we make the Future of Work, a job of today.
