  • We have many folks who play DotA 2 here and damn they are good.
  • The amount of board games we own might allow us to probably start opening a cafe as a side business.
  • We have regular badminton matches, but table tennis is the officially recognized company sports.
  • A surprising amount of people can play instruments as well.
  • We launched 2 products, a revamp of our core administration tools and a long awaited user dashboard for our lenders.
  • How could these people be so good at so many things?
  • We have a very lean engineering team (≤6 people) that the amount of output we have churned is unbelievable.
  • We have an amazing design team that’s growing even better each day.
  • We have great people who still have many further potentials to be tapped (and we have daily 1–1 meetings)
  • I have this never-ending needs of markers and surfaces to write that we bought two moveable extra boards.
  • We have folks who work normal hours, and we have folks who work “normal hours” (lol).
  • Lately we have done some movie nights where we just spend an hour watching Dark on Netflix, the cliffhanger kills us all the time.
  • We celebrate birthdays!
  • Have you ever seen a 2GB .json files? It’s not as massive as what bigger financial institutions like banks have to work with everyday, but we do process a significant chunk of data daily.
  • On my second day of work I was already interviewing an engineering intern prospect.
  • Jati joined us in early December and he has been a great addition to our design team!
  • Our office’s location is close to many nice food places and far away from the abysmal Jakarta’s traffic.
  • A small group of people have trialed Kulina.
  • Some people consistently travel for work so our close proximity to the airports is a great addition.
  • We have a good partnership with Hacktiv8 and we love what they’re doing!
  • We made some great key hires in Q4 2017, hit many of our internal targets and refocused our goals, so we’re really excited for 2018!

And lastly, we’re hiring! If you feel like you’re interested in working with us, do send us your resumes at career@taralite.com. If you have any other questions or are interested to know more about Taralite, please feel free to leave some comments here or ping me anywhere you could find my handle (@leonardykris)
