State of the network as of April 15, 2024:
- 2.111 billion TARA staked and delegated
- 73 active consensus nodes on the Mainnet
- 1,863 active consensus nodes on the Testnet
- 10,345 unique wallet addresses on the Mainnet
Ecosystem Highlights:
- Taraxa launched its first-ever global hackathon, the Taraxa TinkerFest! We partnered with the professional hackathon platform, DoraHacks to help extend our reach.
- Every piece of the Aspen Upgrade, voted in by the community, that caps maximum $TARA supply to 12 billion, has been deployed onto the Taraxa Mainnet by end of March. Aspen will officially trigger on-chain on April 3, 2024.
- The Ficus Root Bridge that connects Ethereum and Taraxa networks development is on-track for end of 2Q, 2024. One major milestone was hit as we completed the development of Pillar Blocks, which are snapshots of Taraxa’s state along with its validator voting weights, created to be anchored onto Ethereum to enable on-chain state verification, a central component of the bridge.
