Tarot is for the people, by the people. Frankly, there is no magic or mystery in tarot but what comes from one’s own imagination. Tarot is always true if you tell a story based on what you see in the tarot card. Tarot readings are basically improvisational story telling — true story telling. If you have the gift for gab, and making things up through envisioning futures that currently do not exist — you’ll make a fine tarot reader. A story teller or rather, tarot reader, starts with an anchor point and then meanders through various paths by asking themselves: What’s next? Where am I going? Who will I see? What will I feel? Anyone can read a set of tarot cards. Everyone has the ability to be a tarot card reader within seconds. It just takes a willingness to make up a story, and then leave it to the listener to decide whether that’s the adventure they’ll choose to take. We, as tarot readers, are animating a story in someone else’s book of life. Ultimately, the book owner is responsible keeping or giving it away. ~ Abella Arthur, Tarot Reader
