Daily Tarot reading — January 21, 2023
In this series, I am doing daily tarot readings to learn to read tarot cards and work more with my intuition and writing about the readings and sharing them here.
Normally I’d write a few my insights about the journey I’m on. But I’ve decided to start saving those for other posts and leaving these to just be about the readings. Here goes the reading…
I shuffled the deck three times and as I did I cleared my mind and set an intention that this reading was not for me. But for someone else who needed a message today. Today two cards fell out and so I’ll be doing a two-card reading today. The first card that fell out was the Page of Wands.
The image on the card is of a man standing alone in a desert landscape. It’s pretty barren with three mountains in the background. They are certainly shaped like pyramids but my inner voice is saying mountains for some reason. The young man has a long wand with him and seems to be inspecting it. My feeling is that he is about to begin a new venture and making sure that the tools he has with him are ready for the task. Making sure things are all set to go. The sky behind him is blue with no clouds in sight so I feel that this new venture is going to be a good one. No storms on the way or anything like that. Not to say that everything will be smooth. It can’t always be smooth sailing otherwise we would never learn anything. But the clear sky tells me that this venture is off to a good start with no issues or problems on the horizon.
The second card that fell with the page of wands is the Two of Cups.
This card symbolizes partnership with the depiction of a man and woman each holding a cup in their hand. The man on the right is reaching out to the woman’s hand. There is a red lion above and between them which symbolizes strength and leadership as well as passion. The two of these cards together show me that this new venture might lead to a strong partnership, perhaps with a loved one. That it will be a good and strong partnership. That the project or venture is stronger because of the collaboration. This card also has a cloudless sky in the background, indicating no storms ahead. Not to say that there won’t be hard work ahead or that it will always be smooth sailing. For now, it seems that there are no storms on the horizon.
