MainNet & Architecture

  • As of press time, the TASchain TestNet ‘Perseus’ has been in stable operation for over a month, during which over 580,000 blocks have been mined and a performance benchmark set in a high TPS scenario has been carried out and passed with success;
  • Continuous improvement of the GTAS program (Win/Mac/Linux);
  • MainNet development and launch is progressing as expected with all major issues located and resolved, and currently the focus of the team is on settle on a working draft of the economic model;
  • The source code and documents for each component are being sorted out in preparation for future open-source release;

Consensus Mechanism

  • Optimized the consensus network communication protocol to significantly reduce traffic consumption;
  • Optimized the pledge removal and reclamation process;

Project Updates

  • From Feb. 5th to Feb. 11th, TASchain held a New Year special event in both domestic and overseas communities in celebration of the Chinese New Year of Pig. During the 7-day event, the times of participation totaled about 3,000, while over 100,000 test tokens were given away as Chinese New Year gifts to TASchain supports in return for their long-time faith in the TASchain project and the recently-launched ‘Perseus’ TestNet.
