MainNet & Architecture
- Jan. 15th, TASchain TestNet (codename “Perseus”) was officially launched and has been in stable operation ever since. Also, corresponding English and Chinese communities were open to the public since the TestNet launch;
- Finished the design of the transaction system and mining reward distribution scheme, both of which were incorporated into the current version of TestNet and are in operations now;
- As of press time, over 100 applications have been submitted and all participating miners have successfully minted blocks;
- TASchain MainNet is currently under fast iteration and development, and is expected to be launched by the end of Feb., stay tuned!
Consensus Mechanism
- Realized the encrypted storage of status data of the miners, when they go online/offline, in the GTAS client;
- Added version control functionality for the consensus agreement to facilitate data migration and management in the following upgrading process;
- Bug fixes and experience improvements;
Product
- Fully upgraded the website in accordance with the TestNet launch to add new sections including “Developer”, “Explorer” and “TestNet”;
- Organized an early closed beta to locate and fix experience problems before TestNet launch;
- New UI for the TASchain Explorer under development;
Project
- Jan 4th, TASchain presented at the “Blockchain Insight 2019” event co-hosted by 8BTC & TokenInsight in Hangzhou. TASchain and other leading projects around the globe joined the event to share their perspectives on the future of blockchain for the next ten years.
- Jan. 14th, upon the invitation of 8BTC, TASchain joined the technical open class “VRF — the bridge to safety” to host a themed public sharing as well as to discuss with other leading projects including Algorand and DFINITY. The event was later covered by 8BTC and Cryptogeek and has evoked a more in-depth understanding of the underlying technologies of blockchain.
