On-boarding your team on Taskworld is really easy. It just takes a few minutes for everyone to get up and running.

In this article, we’ll suggest some steps to introduce Taskworld to your team.

Before we begin, let’s talk about the end goal of this onboarding process.

Taking away the fear of change

People have a natural tendency to feel apprehensive about change. However, these apprehensions go out of the window when change gives them more time for themselves. Let your team know that Taskworld is there to help them and not just the managers. Assure them that they can still work the way they want.

So, here are a few tips for introducing Taskworld to your team.

1. Start with benefits

Everyone likes things to be simple, and ease of use lies at the core of Taskworld. This makes it ridiculously easy for teams to switch from spreadsheets and clunky software to Taskworld. Here are few benefits that you can list out to your team:

  • Unlike archaic PM tools, Taskworld doesn’t require any formal training or certifications.
  • No task, no matter how small will ever fall through the cracks.
  • Visual boards allow you to organize work the way you want.
  • It has built in chat (complete with emojis, mentions, private groups etc.)
  • You don’t have to go through a hundred emails to find the right attachment.
  • Interactive dashboard lets you track the performance of any project at any point of time.
  • Unlimited cloud storage
Taskworld lets you chat with your team mates without losing the sight of your tasks.

2. It’s not about changing the way you work

Forced change of habits causes resistance to change. However, Taskworld never requires you to give up your way of organizing work. Think of it as a glove that just fits to your team’s culture.

With multiple tasklists, you can create different workflows. You can also tune privacy settings to restrict access to certain projects and tasks. Email lovers can update progress on Taskworld via email.

Choose a pre-existing workflow or create your own.

If your team is using additional tools and want to continue using them, they can use Taskworld to update top management about their progress and align everyone towards a common roadmap. This gives managers a bird’s eye view of all the departments in one place which helps them in making strategic decisions.

3. Sending invitations

To invite your teammates to Taskworld, click on your workspace name in the top right corner of the screen, then click Invite People.

Invite teammates to your workspace.

There are two ways to invite your teammates to Taskworld.

  • Email ID: By typing in their email address.
