Beard or no beard, you have done great things for the City of Fort Wayne. You built Sweetwater literally out of the back of a VW bus. Most importantly, you have remained true to who you are through every success and win you have had in business. It can be very easy to see and taste success and let it ruin you as a person. You have done quite the opposite. You have tasted it and have a desire to share it with the city of Fort Wayne.

Our time together was a blast and I love the passion you have for our city. Especially downtown! Thank you for your leadership in our community. I hope you continue to create business and inspire the future generations of our city to do the same. Your companies are great and they have done well, but your heart for this city and its people speak volumes to your character.
