We Have Something Of A Problem

Conversations With My Daughter — Jilly Nines

“Yes, Jilly.”

“I don’t think Robert wants to be my friend anymore.”

“Oh no. Why not?”

“At school today he said to me, ‘I don’t want to be your friend anymore.’”

“I think, maybe he was just having a bad day, honey, and he’ll be your friend again by tomorrow.”

“I don’t know daddy. I think it’s because I got everything right on the spelling test and he spelled something wrong.”

“Well then, I’m positive he’ll be your friend again tomorrow. Maybe you could help him study for the next test. What did he spell wrong?”

“I told you. Something — s.o.m.e.t.h.i.n.g.”
