Chicken pieces with potatoes in the oven

Ingredients
To cook chicken in pieces with potatoes in the oven, you will need:
chicken pieces ……………… 500–600 g;
potatoes …………………….. 800 g;
spices to taste ………………. 1.5 tablespoon;
salt, pepper …………………. to taste;
vegetable oil ………………… 3 tablespoons;
butter ………………………… 3 tablespoons;
boiled water ………………… 150–200 ml;
greens …………………………to taste;
garlic …………………………. 2 cloves (optional)
Step-by-step cooking instructions
Step 1
Peel and rinse the potatoes.
Step 2
Cover the baking dish or baking sheet with foil or parchment. Cut the potatoes into large wedges. Put potatoes on foil and sprinkle with spices and salt.
Step 3
Drizzle over the prepared potatoes with vegetable oil and rub thoroughly with your hands so that each potato is covered with oil.
Step 4
Cut the chicken into portions, season with salt, pepper and leave to soak for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Place the chicken pieces over the potatoes in the center of the baking sheet (or baking dish).
Step 6
Spread softened butter throughout the dish. Put a baking sheet with chicken and potatoes in a preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
Step 7
Then take out the baking sheet and add water to the potatoes with chicken.
Step 8
Place back in the oven and bake for another 30 minutes. Remove the finished dish from the oven, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs and 2 cloves of garlic, passed through a press.
