We’ve been hard at work here at Tasytt HQ building you the next version of Obie, the knowledge bot!

We’re extremely excited to share with you the latest changelog for what we’re calling Obie 2.0 [BETA] (the first of many).

Easier Authorization
We’ve simplified the authorization on Obie’s dashboard. No more long-winded steps and permissions. Simply login with Slack, choose your team, and you’re in!

Integrations
In addition to Google Drive, we’ve now created an add-on for Atlassian Confluence. Once you install and configure the add-on with your cloud instance of Confluence, Obie will begin searching it and returning results from there. To find out more and install him today, visit his Atlassian Marketplace listing: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/obie-confluence/cloud/overview

Improved Search
Obie is getting smarter! We’ve had our engineers hard at work making sure Obie’s search algorithm returns the most accurate results from Tasytt, Google Drive, and Confluence. Obie will continue to get smarter and faster with each release.

User Sync
Remove the guess work by enabling user sync. The ‘start syncing’ command will sync your Slack team with the dashboard in real-time so you don’t need to worry about user provisioning.

Manage Integrations
Administrators can now enable/disable Obie’s integrations from the settings in the dashboard. Go to the dashboard, menu (click the 3 vertical dots), and select “Integration Settings”.

Flow Preview
Unsure about how a Flow might look to your fellow employees while you’re creating it? Now we have a real-time preview in the Flow editor! This will help you see (almost) exactly what a user will see when they are completing a Flow with Obie.

Optional Flow Scheduling
Ever want to just make a Flow available for a group and not schedule it to arrive at any particular time? Well you’re in luck. You can now simply ‘uncheck’ the schedule at the bottom of each Flow step.

Slack Buttons
We’ve integrated Slack buttons to Obie for a much easier and cleaner user experience.

Support Resources
Ask and you shall receive. Not only can Obie answer help questions regarding his functionality but we built this support page for a place to list commands and FAQ’s.

Bug Fixes Galore
As always, we’re constantly fixing bugs and enhancing Obie the dashboard. We’d like to thank all of the users who contacted Tasytt support to let us know about issues, and for their patience while we fixed them as quickly as we could.

As always, we’re eager to hear what you think of Obie. Feedback, questions and concerns—we want it all.

On behalf of Alex, Rav, Carolyn, Kirk and the rest of the team, thank you for letting Obie into your team!
