Community
Alpha Mainnet Release
Taxa Mainnet was alpha released in August. Taxa Alpha Mainnet is a decentralized infrastructure that allows everyone to easily build and run interactive Web 3.0 applications with confidentiality and performance.
Developers are now offered opportunities of developing blockchain applications with the functions and performance comparable to those of internet services. For example, asymmetric info game applications, big data / machine learning applications, fintech applications, etc. Taxa Mainnet also allows miners to be rewarded with Taxa Tokens by contributing their computing powers to host tService-enabled Taxa Nodes.
The Alpha Mainnet release includes major updates to:
- Pyxa: a special subset of Python optimized for security and developer experience;
- Taxa Core: the Core TEE-based tServices interpreter module;
- Taxa Client Python SDK: a client-side Python library that facilitates easy development of end-user applications.

Technology
Taxa P2P Network:
- Improved the node-side deployment solution by wrapping the Taxa node APIs and core TEE-enabled applications into one single service daemon;
- Improved node discovery protocol to allow clients to connect to the P2P network with the designated Taxa nodes within seconds;
- Added performance monitoring module to Taxa nodes opt to be enabled;
- Worked on a compatibility issue across different versions of TEE drivers;
- Started to onboard TEE-enabled computing nodes.
Taxa Python SDK:
- Integrated with the newest P2P network protocols;
- Fixed a bug that occasionally causes attestation failure.
Pyxa:
- Misc bug fixes.
Mainnet Explorer:
- Launched network analysis APIs for tracking real-time node status, and tServices related information.
