Taxa Monthly Highlights for August 2021

Below please find the monthly highlights for August.
Technology
Pyxa:
- Updated the taxa.authorize_only() method in tServices (function decorator for access control) so that permitted users’ public keys can be displayed in a more concise and human-readable format.
SDK:
- Added installer for customized protocol handler on the Web3 SDK;
- Fixed compatibility issues on Py3;
- Added tServices test box;
- Fixed miscellaneous bugs.
Taxa Node & Network:
- Developed the Taxa node installer for mining node deployment;
- Released multiple updates to improve network stability;
- Improved the node searching mechanism to handle the “request-by-peer-cert” calls.
Ecosystem
Taxa Developer Grant Program Coming in September
The goal of the Taxa Developer Grants Program is to grow the Taxa ecosystem, foster a dynamic Taxa developer community, and encourage creative applications built with the Taxa platform.
The Program consists of multiple phases so as to help developers to kickstart their development journey with Taxa, and by accomplishing the challenges of each phase developers shall earn their chances to receive the award granted by Taxa.
Phase I of the Program aims at helping developers kick start with the first step of developing with Taxa: set up the Taxa SDK, and to get it to communicate with tServices.
