Taxa Monthly Highlights for September 2020

Below please find the monthly highlights for September.
Technology
Taxa Core:
- Upgraded the implementation of TEE-related libraries for cloud deployment compatibility, and improved the compatibility of cloud-based TEE-enabled compute nodes;
- Fixed a bug that prevented response messages from properly displaying tServices exceptions, and isolated Python-layer errors in TEE from those in Taxa-Core.
Taxa P2P Network:
- Implemented a new tService request mode: request-by-peer-cert, which allows tServices users to easily establish shared sessions with other users according to the business logic’s needs;
- Added a queuing mechanism on Taxa Nodes’ REST API service to handle high-frequency remote attestation requests.
Taxa Python SDK:
- Added an auto-reconnect mechanism to mitigate attestation exceptions.
Pyxa:
- Upgraded with an auto-testing framework;
- Updated documentation in several places.
Community
Alpha Mainnet Release
Taxa Alpha Mainnet is now available at: taxa.network. Taxa Alpha Mainnet is a decentralized infrastructure that allows everyone to easily build and run interactive Web 3.0 applications with confidentiality and performance. Developers are now offered opportunities of developing blockchain applications with the functions and performance comparable to those of internet services. For example, asymmetric info game applications, big data / machine learning applications, fintech applications, etc. Taxa Mainnet also allows miners to be rewarded with Taxa Tokens by contributing their computing powers to host tService-enabled Taxa Nodes.
The Alpha Mainnet release included the major updates to:
- Pyxa: a special subset of Python optimized for security and developer experience;
- Taxa Core: the Core TEE-based tServices interpreter module;
- Taxa Client Python SDK: a client-side Python library that facilitates easy development of end-user applications.
