In the week of July 29- Aug 4, 2019, we worked on Taxa Core and Smart Contract Engine, and kicked off the collaboration with NKN to fuse TEE-enabled confidential computation with the decentralized network to enable a new breed of high-performance, trustless applications and services. Technology:

Taxa Core:

Kept improving the request-response protocol between user and Taxa nodes.

Smart Contract Engine:

Rewrote the application level development framework partially；
Migrated additional secure cryptography libraries.

Community:

On July 29th, Taxa and NKN announced a collaboration to fuse TEE-enabled confidential computation with the decentralized network to enable a new breed of high-performance, trustless applications and services. This strategic partnership will allow NKN to integrate Taxa’s compute environment and smart contract platform on NKN’s global P2P network. The result will provide developers a truly secure and decentralized platform for building the next generation of web 3.0 applications.

NKN is the new kind of P2P network connectivity protocol & ecosystem powered by a novel public blockchain. NKN use economic incentives to motivate Internet users to share network connection and utilize unused bandwidth. NKN’s open, efficient, and robust networking infrastructure enables application developers to build the decentralized Internet so everyone can enjoy secure, low cost, and universally accessible connectivity.

Taxa and NKN will also be collaborating in joint marketing to attract developers to build new innovative Web 3.0 applications. The initial focus will be on gaming and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications that can take advantage of the combined hosting resources and scale.
