After some delays, the class schedules are here. For Freshmen, this is the start of a new journey. The rest of us? We’re back to the grind.

Here’s everything you need to start the year right.

Class Schedules

I made a Google Drive file that includes all the schedules for Freshmen and Sophomores released so far. Karama Sfar did the same for Juniors and Seniors. If you don’t know yours yet, check them out.

If you don’t like your group schedule, you can change it. Just make sure to be early and have someone to change places with to maximize your chances.

Bus Subscription

You need to go to the post office and bring the payment receipt you get from the inscription.tn website, a photo, a copy of your national ID and of course the cost of the subscription.

There are different bus subscriptions you can make depending on your needs. Rached Fares wrote a very thorough post about this on the Facebook groups.

Restaurant Subscription

You need a copy of your national ID, a copy of your TBS Inscription, 2 photos and 2 dinars for sign up fees.

The food is alright. If you’re feeling fancy though, there are a couple of places nearby you can go to for the occasional Mlewi.

Courses & Books

The team at TBS Archive made an awesome database of the courses and books you’ll need for the year. Some parts have gotten outdated over time but it remains an outstanding source for all things TBS.

Clubs

Clubs are what make TBS great. There is one for every taste. You love diplomacy? Join TIMUN. Or maybe you’re more into business, then Junior Enterprise is for you. There’s everything from the arts to the humanitarian.

You’ll find out all about them on Welcome Day which should be on early October. It’s a great opportunity to get a feel for the school’s spirit.

Well, I genuinely believe this will be a better year. I can’t speak for all, but I’m a better stronger more knowledgeable person than before. I hope that helps me make the most out of this year, and avoid the pitfalls of the past.

My goal for this semester is to get a 4.0 GPA. You may think that’s crazy, stupid, or both. I don’t care. I was always an average student, but I know I can be much better if I wanted to, but as of now I don’t have real life proof of that.

This will be it, maybe just for one semester or maybe not. I want to see what it takes to get there, all the effort and grit, and if I have it in me.

What’s your goal for this year? It doesn’t have to be about school. I would love to know about it in the comments.
