Firmware Update Troubleshooting
To update your device to the current firmware version, please follow these instructions.

iOS INSTRUCTIONS
Put your tCheck into update mode — do the following:
1) Insert batteries then, PRESS and HOLD the power button until all the lights turn purple. (If tCheck is powered on, press and hold the power button until the lights turn off, then PRESS and HOLD the power button until all the lights turn purple).
2) On your mobile phone, open the tCheck app.
3) Go to Settings (This is located in the top right corner of your home screen) -> select “Check for updates”.
4) It will either say
- a) “New firmware available!” > click “Download Update” (this will load the new firmware to the phone); or
- b) It will say “New firmware ready!” Press “Get started!”
5) At “New firmware ready!” > click “Get started!” (this will begin the process to update the new firmware to the device).
6) Select device (the device will be labeled as tCheck2_DFU).
7) Observe on the mobile phone the progress bar — when you see Update Complete! > click OK button. Lights cycled through colors and are now 2-Blue and 1-Green.
8) Select Run Test button.
9) Select your device shown at the “Select a device” window. Lights changed to 3-Blue.
Select an infusion > review information at Tell us more about the infusion screen; then click Begin Test button — and continue to follow prompts until you receive your test result.
ANDROID INSTRUCTIONS
If there is an update available, you will see a message that says: “Looks like your tCheck2 needs to be Updated!”
Select ‘OK’. If you didn’t receive the message but want to make sure you are running the latest firmware do the following:
· Open and log in to the tCheck app.
Put your tCheck into update mode — do the following:
1. Insert batteries and PRESS and HOLD the power button until all the lights turn purple. (If tCheck is powered on, press and hold the power button until the lights turn off, then PRESS and HOLD the power button until all the lights turn purple). If your device is already showing purple lights, proceed to #2.
2. On your mobile phone, open the tCheck app.
3. Go to Settings > select ‘Check for updates’.
4. It will say ‘New firmware available!’ > click ‘Pick a device’
5. Click ‘OK’ to continue
6. Select device (the device will be labeled as tCheck2_DFU).
7. Observe on the mobile phone the progress bar (uploading: xx%). Lights cycled through colors and are now 2-Blue and 1-Green.
8. When you see Firmware downloaded successfully! You can now use your device. > click ‘Done’ button.
9. Click ‘Home’
10. Click ‘Run Test’ button
11. Select your device shown at the ‘Select a device’ window. Lights changed to 3-Blue.
12. Select an infusion > review information at ‘Tell us more about the infusion’ screen; then click ‘Begin Test’ button — and continue to follow prompts — until you receive your test result.
