Introducing Tower Conquest: Metaverse Edition

An Epic Free-to-Earn Real-Time PvP Tower Defense game

Tower Conquest: Metaverse Edition

Welcome to Tower Conquest: Metaverse Edition (TC:ME), An Epic Play-to-Earn Tower Defense Game Powered By Polygon

We are excited to finally reveal Tower Conquest: Metaverse Edition. It’s a game built from the ground up for web3. In TC:ME you’ll assemble a squad, wage epic battles, and strategize your way to victory.

When we decided to make our first web3 game over a year ago, we felt we could solve one of the key issues plaguing this nascent ecosystem — most web3 games aren’t even games or fun. With that in mind, we wondered what if the cutting-edge potential of the blockchain could be married to tried and true gameplay mechanics that are enjoyable and accessible to all? TC:ME hopes to answer that question.

That being said, since this is a web3 game, the economy is as important as the gameplay itself and TC:ME has been designed to ensure a sustainable game that’s in line with SuperGaming’s ethos of making games people play for years. With all of this in mind, let’s get into the game itself.

Choose Your Faction

The world of TC:ME is one where magic is real and a part of everyday life, thanks to a resource known as Mana. It’s home to two factions — the Undead and the Kingsmen. They’re at constant war with each other to control the land and Mana of the Tower Conquest Metaverse. Here’s a quick look at these two factions you’ll be able to play as at launch:

Kingsmen Faction

The Kingsmen Faction

The Kingsmen are a collection of Kingdoms that used to be in a constant state of war with at least one Kingdom waging a war with another at any given moment in time. Initially, these Kingdoms were smaller and used to fight among themselves and considered themselves the only center of Civilization on the Tower Conquest Metaverse. But as their Kingdoms grew and time went on they were soon met with a powerful foe, The Jade Empire.

The Kingsmen were divided into many smaller Kingdoms which were at a disadvantage against the massive Jade Empire. But one of the Kings, King Arthur brought all the kingdoms together and brokered an alliance between them, becoming the High King Arthur. And together they have withstood not only against the Jade empire but also against other forces massing against them.

Undead Faction

The Undead Faction

The Undead have been a constant threat to all people in Tower Conquest Metaverse, due to the overflowing mana that twists the spirits and bodies of the dead into these vicious creatures. Not all the dead are the same thus the undead formed are also of different varieties such as undead animals and mystic beasts, undead zombies, witches etc. Some of the more powerful undead are formed from the mixture of multiple undead coalescing into one entity over centuries.

The Undead used to be unintelligent and unorganized and easier to deal with as a result. But lately more powerful and intelligent undead have started appearing, gathering the lesser undead under them. Although still not as united as the Empire or the Kingdoms, they have begun collaborating, with some undead rising as leaders and have begun using the Towers as part of their strategy making them a much more serious threat for everyone. The undead are directly fueled by the Mana and thus have access to some arcane abilities and can be very powerful.

Ready Player One (and Two)

Tower Conquest: Metaverse Edition’s core gameplay has you selecting a squad of six, including a tower to battle it through its campaign or against another player. The goal? To destroy your opponent’s tower.

Real-Time Multiplayer (Player vs Player) mode

Multiplayer in TC:ME is real-time. You’ll need to be on your toes, change strategies on the fly, and react to enemy attacks while defending your own tower. You play against other players from across the world and battle it out to destroy each other’s towers.

Campaign Mode

Campaign Mode Map

And if you prefer playing solo, there’s the campaign mode. In this mode, you’ll battle against AI-controlled enemies to advance through the map of the land. You’ll complete quests, level up, and uncover TC:ME’s deepest secrets and enchanting realms as you progress through the levels.

Cards — the Currency of War

Before you can wage war in TC:ME, you need Cards. Cards are essentially the squad that you will pick for your battle. Before you start a battle, you will be presented with a chance to choose your Cards along with the number of charges per Card. There will be 12 Cards to choose from in the game at launch with more on the way. There are two types of Cards spanning three different categories in TC:ME.
